About the laboratory
The Center for International Security and Partnership is a structural unit of the Faculty of International Relations of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, which carries out research and information and analytical activities. The purpose of the Center’s functioning is the organization and coordination of scientific, information-research, analytical and educational activities of teachers, students and postgraduate students of the faculty in the field of international relations. The Center’s activities involve cooperation with Ukrainian and foreign scientific institutions, research and expert centers, educational and training institutions engaged in the study and research of international security problems and multilateral cooperation in the field of international relations. The Center for International Security and Partnership was established in 2014 at the Faculty of International Relations with the support of the NATO Information and Documentation Center. The Center actively cooperates with Ukrainian and foreign scientific, research and expert centers, educational institutions dealing with security issues and multilateral cooperation in the field of international relations, maintains close contacts with NATO, UN, OSCE structures. The priority areas of the Center’s activities are the study of international conflicts, the security policy of states and international institutions. The Center constantly monitors Ukrainian and foreign mass media, analyzes processes and phenomena in the system of international relations.
