Biography

Graduated from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv with a Degree in English Language and
Literature. She has been working at the Department of Foreign Languages since 2004. In 2010-
2011 Iryna Losyeva was a Doctoral Student at Middle East Technical University in Ankara,
Turkey. In 2016 she defended her Doctoral Thesis and received a Degree of Candidate of
Philological Sciences (comparable to the Academic Degree of Doctor of Philosophy). Dr.
Losyeva currently works as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of International Relations. She
has been actively engaged into implementation of international projects Tempus and Erasmus+.
In the framework of project activities and international mobility programs Iryna Losyeva has
visited numerous conferences, seminars both in Ukraine and abroad (Lund University, Sweden;
University of Turku, Finland; Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Georgia; Adam
Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland). She is the author of scientific articles both in Ukraine
and abroad.
