In close cooperation with the US Embassy in Kyiv two Annual American Studies Summer Institute were successfully conducted at the Faculty of International Lations: “US Government Policy and its Impact on Foreign Policy” (2013) and “Protecting Diversity – The History of the Movement for Civil and Human Rights in the United States” (2014). CAS also organises multidisciplinary conferences in American Studies, which allowed to become one of the platforms for familiarization and popularization of scientific achievements in the field of American studies in Ukraine.

One of the last educational initiatives of the Center was organisation of the Annual Lviv Leadership Academy (held in 2016 and 2017) together with the Krieble Foundation, the American Studies Foundation and the US Embassy in Ukraine, which aims to develop student leadership competences based on the best American and international practices.
